Portraits, and after

The dock for portraits, and the fire for the late evening.

The dock runs out over the lake. The fire pit sits by the deck, under string lights, and is lit from about nine.

The dock

The dock runs out over the lake. The lake is quiet for one hour around the ceremony, so plan your portraits on the dock inside that hour. Guests sit on it in the afternoon, and late at night it is where the last few people are.

After dark

The fire

The fire pit sits under string lights, by the deck. It is lit from about nine o'clock. We keep blankets by it. In winter, it is a fire beside a frozen lake, with the warm hall behind you.

See it in person.
