Tesia Ronaldson was born and raised in North Edmonton and became an educator. Tesia's love of children was amplified when she and her husband, Curtis, had their first child. She developed and began a home based business in order to stay home with their son.

Tesia then  gave birth to their daughter in 2021. At this time, Curtis and Tesia made some life changes by selling their home and moving to an acreage. While their house was being built, they had the privilege of living at Shalom Park with Curtis' mom and step-dad, Donna and Ken. They were so fortunate to have shared this time together and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. 

Becoming a wedding planner was something Tesia always dreamed of. She is extremely organized, has an eye for design, and making people smile. Tesia and Donna hope to build connections and share this special place to create unforgettable experiences. These combined passions led us to Spruce Valley Events.  

Creating beautiful spaces has long been a passion of Donna's. While her boys were growing up she took many creative workshops and classes to express her creative side. Floral design, water colour painting, folk painting, stained glass, and ceramics, to name a few.  In 1990, she started a home based business called Whimsy.  The home based business quickly grew and expanded to a retail store in North Edmonton.

In 2000, she decided to take the Residential Interior Design program at the U of A and has been working as a designer ever since! In 2011, was remarried and moved to Shalom Park. The landscape of the river valley lends itself as a beautiful location for an event. 

Weddings and events have taken place at Shalom Park since 1995. Donna and Tesia have collaborated to create a whole new look for future weddings and events. We are excited to be renovating with many unique features to make weddings and events at Spruce Valley memorable.
